Dr Karine Haas is the Principal Dentist at Nailsea Dental Practice, with a special interest in minimally invasive smile enhancement using Invisalign, composite bonding and restorative techniques to create beautiful, natural-looking smiles. She is passionate about helping patients achieve the smile they have always wanted, in a way that enhances confidence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Karine is also highly experienced in the treatment of tooth wear, helping patients restore not only the appearance of their smile, but also comfort, function and long-term dental health. Her philosophy is centred on delivering dentistry that looks effortless, feels natural and stands the test of time.
After qualifying in Brazil in 2001, Karine moved to the UK in 2002 and went on to hold hospital and university training appointments in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Her dedication to advanced clinical excellence led her to complete a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry at Sheffield University in 2009, where she developed extensive expertise in managing complex cases and treating tooth wear. She has also completed additional training in fixed orthodontics, Invisalign and holds a Diploma in Periodontics from Harley Street.
This strong clinical foundation has shaped Karine’s approach to modern smile dentistry, and she now spends most of her clinical time focused on cosmetic dentistry and minimally invasive treatments. She is an experienced Invisalign provider and enjoys combining orthodontics, composite bonding and restorative dentistry to create refined, harmonious and long-lasting smile transformations.
Known for her calm, attentive and highly personalised approach, Karine takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, aspirations and expectations. She believes exceptional dentistry begins with careful listening and meticulous planning, allowing her to create bespoke treatment journeys tailored to the individual.
Outside the practice, Karine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as running, cycling and hiking.
