New Patients
On your first visit to the practice you will be made very welcome and we will spend time to familiarise ourselves with your needs, likes, dislikes, and aspirations to improve and maintain your teeth.
We assume all patients are nervous and will propose different treatment options best suited to each individual patient.
All patients are given a treatment plan and detailed estimate following x-ray screening before any treatment is performed. Seeing patients for the first time is the most rewarding part of our day!
Nervous Patients
Exceptionally nervous patients can be treated under sedation using an intravenous Valium type drug. In the future, we are hopeful that we will also be able to use inhalation sedation (gas and air) which is a milder form of sedation.
In both cases patients remain awake but very relaxed to make the treatment experience worry free to the point of often being enjoyable – sounds unbelievable but that’s often the comment we hear from patients.
