About Us

Karine enjoys helping people achieve their desired smile. She believes a pleasant and healthy smile has a great impact on self-confidence and quality of life. She focuses on listening and understanding patients main concerns so that their aims can be achieved, and will explain all the options available from simple treatment to more complex options.

Karine qualified in Brazil in 2001, and she came to the UK in 2002 to carry out research in Endodontics at Cardiff Dental School. For the following years she held hospital and university training appointments in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics at Cardiff Dental School, Chester Hospital and the renowned Eastman Dental Institute.

Her passion for excellence led her to embark on a Masters Degree course in Restorative Dentistry , which was completed in 2009 at Sheffield University. She gained vast experience treating patients with severe tooth wear and more complex cases requiring full mouth rehabilitation.

Karine is committed to attending courses and conferences with the leading dentists around the world so that she is up to date with new materials and techniques. She enjoys implementing the latest techniques leading to a great healthy smile, often combining short term Orthodontics with Restoarative dentistry.

In her spare time, Karine enjoys spending time with her young family and friends, running, cycling and cultural events.
